First off, Healthcare Pizza is not actually a pizza company.   Shocking I know. It’s a weekly healthcare blog that aims to create thought-provoking and interesting content in an easily digestible format. Just like a slice of pizza.


We are not a peer-reviewed academic journal or a national media company with large editorial staff. Instead, we are current healthcare professionals who like talking about digital health and the future of healthcare. We do so in a fun writing style that both informs and entertains. Andy grew up in Petoskey, Michigan and is a lifelong Detroit sports fan. He has spent his career improving the healthcare delivery system, now referred to as value-based care or population health. He has started this blog to raise awareness and spark conversations among the industry and occasionally works with startups / investors to better understand innovation across the industry. Andy lives in Arlington, VA and loves to play tennis and hockey, hang out with friends, and dabbles in photography and videography.
